Larissa Bonaci trained at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, with many professionals including Mr. Alfred Molina, graduating in 2007 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Acting. Upon her return to Malta she starred in various local television series and theatre performances at the Manoel Theatre and Spazju Kreattiv.

 

In 2011 she starred as Isabella in a Commedia dell'arte tour in Israel, the tour began at The Arab-Hebrew Theatre in Jaffa. At the Cine Cinema Film Festival, Malta (2013) she was awarded ‘Best Performance’ for her role in the short film “Don’t We All”.

 

Larissa features in "Saul: The Journey to Damascus" as 'Ester' which premiered in Canada late 2014. "Saul" also aired on Rai 1 Italy, in April 2015. She featured along side Colm Meaney as ‘Sara’  in the movie "A Dangerous Arrangement" (2015) and as a ‘CIA Agent’ in Michael Bay's film "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" (2016), and the short film 'Fear' as Adele which is currently in post-production (2018). 

Larissa graduated from the University of Malta obtaining a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2014 and is currently reading a Masters in Theatre Studies and Performance.
